This Is My Story

Megan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She has attended many workshops and conferences and volunteers for local agencies and non-profit organizations.

Megan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus in children and families from Barry University in Miami. Megan has been in private practice for 16 years and prior to that worked at the Children’s Hospital of SWFL for 6 years.

Specializing in individual child and adolescent therapy, as well as marriage and family therapy.  Megan treats a range of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, medical trauma, behavioral disorders, grief, abuse and stress management.

Megan Linden-Haataja has weekly groups and uses multiple therapeutic techniques, not limited to brief therapy, crisis intervention, cognitive behavioral therapy and employee assistance. She is an interactive therapist that not only listens, but provides feedback and is extremely analytical while being compassionate and kind. She strives to help her clients and their families overcome life stressors and provides personalized care of each and everyone who walks through her door.
